AMPROCARE 500

AMPROCARE 500 is a coccidiostat mainly used in poultry. Amprolium is a
thiamine (Vitamin B1) antagonist that blocks thiamine uptake by Eimeria species,
interfering with carbohydrate metabolism and leading to starvation and death of the parasite.
It acts mainly on the second generation schizonts and is primarily administered via drinking
water during outbreaks.
